| Who are your software and services designed for? |
| What data is migrated from our old system and what happens to our old A/R? |
| Who would maintain/update our coding records and fee schedules? |
| How is the collection work assigned to our collection staff? |

IMP Response: IMP’s software is created to service radiology practices, imaging facilities, or medical billing companies who wish to automate billing tasks and improve performance by eliminating many of the tasks that prevent their staff from working on the important issues in the revenue cycle.
Benefit to You: Enables your billing staff to focus on performing high yield tasks. |

IMP Response: IMP can import many of your master index tables, including insurance companies, physicians, patients, procedures, etc. We do not convert old patient account data unless they are balance forward accounts (e.g. payment plan accounts).
Benefit to You: You will start with a clean system that will mitigate billing errors and help you start to see the benefits of our system immediately and give you the opportunity to prevent what we call the black hole (accounts aged over 120 days) from growing unabated. You may want to temporarily maintain your old system to resolve unpaid claims. |

IMP Response: IMP and your organization.
Benefit to You: On a quarterly basis IMP will load and/or update current RBRVS RVU values (GPCI modified for your geographical region), Local Carrier Determinations, and Correct Coding Initiative records. Our implementation team will load your initial fee schedule and payer reimbursement profiles. The subscriber is then responsible for maintaining their fee schedule on an ongoing basis. |

IMP Response: Patient balances, unpaid, underpaid or denied claims are grouped into ticklers that are assigned to staff by insurance, alphabet, or a combination of both.
Benefit to You: Outstanding balances are fully accounted for and assigned to workers with detailed reporting on productivity and yields; gone are the days of wondering what’s going on with your AR. |
